Handsome, squarish-oval leaves in sage green with a sateen finish have offset pairs of deep green, teardrop shaped slashes ending in trailing points to the edge of the leaf. A finely drawn emerald green line edges each leaf. Burle is a little burly, topping out at around 12" overall, in a nice, satisfying fullness. As a prayer plant, the rustling leaves will rise up and join its cousins in prayer at night, showing the soft burgundy glow of their undersides. Tiny white flowers on short stalks will appear in spring.
