Bullseye Spilanthes (Acmella oleracea), also known as the Toothache Plant, is a unique, fast-growing herbaceous plant prized for its unusual, button-like flowers and medicinal properties. Adds a striking visual appeal to gardens, hanging baskets, and containers.

 Known for its numbing effect when chewed, it has been traditionally used for toothaches and mouth sores. Sometimes used in salads or as a garnish due to its unique tingling sensation.

Appearance: Green, oval-shaped leaves with a slightly serrated edge. They grow in a dense, mounding habit. Small, cone-shaped flowers with yellow centers with a red-brown ring near the base, resembling "bullseyes" (hence the name). Low-growing and spreading growth, reaching about 12–18 inches (30–45 cm) tall and 12–24 inches (30–60 cm) wide.

Growing Conditions: Prefers full sun to partial shade. Plant in well-draining, rich soil with moderate moisture. Regular watering, but it’s somewhat drought-tolerant once established. Grown as an annual in most climates, but can be a short-lived perennial in USDA zones 9–11.
