If you are in search of a Weeping Willow Trees for sale online, then you have landed in the right place! Willow trees are one of the most recognizable trees due to their classic, rounded shape and long thing branches which droop to the ground creating a striking appearance unlike any other. They are deciduous trees composed of ground-sweeping branches that are full of long, narrow leaves with silver tinted undersides. In the fall these leaves will become yellow and eventually drop.

Weeping Willow trees reach an average size of 30-50′ H x 30-50′ W at full maturity. With a fast growth rate, you can expect upwards of 24" of growth yearly in optimal conditions. These are lovely trees with a graceful appearance and are wonderful additions to large scale gardens and landscapes. Weeping Willows are sure to attract plenty of attention and are useful as screenings or as a specimen.

Weeping Willow Tree Care

  • Hardy from USDA Zones 4-10. You may find Weeping Willows anywhere from the Lakesides of northern Michigan to the swamps of central and south Florida.
  • Place in a location that receives full sun and has soil that is consistently damp. These are the ideal conditions for the Willow and will have the strongest impact on its overall health and longevity.
  • Weeping Willow Trees are tolerant of most soil types, even clay. Easy to establish in soils that are both acidic and/or alkaline.

Do Weeping Willow Trees require large amounts of water?

There is no other way to say this, but YES, they do require large amounts of water. Most gardeners agree that Weeping Willows are best suited near a fresh body of water due to the nature of their roots which aggressively seek out water whether that be sewer lines or septic lines.

For the first year of planting your willow will require watering weekly. To help encourage the roots to establish themselves in the soil. Water your newly planted tree every other day for several weeks. After that, watering the tree once a week should be sufficient.

Pruning your Weeping Willow

Pruning should be done in January - March. Snip branches back as this will trigger the sprouting of new branches and bring fresh foliage to the forefront. There is no need to prune severely, but a light trim annually will be beneficial to the tree's health and appearance.

Disclaimers:

If your tree is over 46" inches tall at the time of shipping, we will have to trim it to fit into our boxes.

Customers Outside of the Southeastern United States: Shipping these trees over long distances during the Summer is not recommended, please wait to order during Fall to Early Spring for best results.

Great for chewers!
Size: Large, Color: Ball-Blue
We have a super high energy one year old pup who destroys practically every toy she gets. This one is excellent! It makes a fun but not annoying sound and she hasn’t been able to destroy it yet. The test hole is a fun addition to keep her busy.

My Dog Loved It—Until It Stopped Working
Size: Large, Color: Ball-Red
I purchased this treat-dispensing dog toy for my German Shepherd, and for the first couple of days it worked exactly as advertised. When rolled or tossed, it made an engaging sound that immediately caught my dog’s attention and encouraged him to interact with the toy to get the treats out. He absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, after only a few days, the sound feature stopped working. Then it mysteriously started working again for a short period, so I thought the issue had resolved itself. However, it has now stopped completely. No matter how much I shake, roll, or toss the toy, it no longer makes any sound. I went out of town and didn’t realize the return window had passed while I was gone. By the time I returned, the return deadline had already expired, which was disappointing because I would have returned it when the problem first appeared. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing this toy. While many of the reviews seem positive, perhaps I received a defective unit. It’s disappointing that it stopped functioning properly after barely a month of use. That said, my dog genuinely enjoyed it when it was working, and I would appreciate it if the manufacturer would stand behind their product and offer a replacement as a courtesy. I would be happy to return the defective toy. If a replacement performed as intended, I would gladly reconsider my opinion. For now, however, I am very disappointed with the functionality and reliability of this product.

Powerful little ball
The ball is well designed, made, and is durable. It is functional and easy to turn on. It has a good amount of power and movement to capture my pets attention. It moves easily on wooden, laminated, and carpeted floors. The material is hard which makes it not break down easily when bitten or chewed. The colors are appealing and attractive.

Too big and heavy for my dog. Spins more often than it rolls. Good material.
The first time we used this, which honestly took a bit too long to figure out, our dog was excited and immediately kicked it under the couch. I guess that makes sense, you really have no idea where this thing is going to end up. I did fish it out after a bit, and it needed a charge. After reassembly, the ball would only spin in circles until it was hit. That's probably just as well, as it was still engaging and less likely to roll away. The issue is this is large and heavy, larger than a tennis ball and heavier than it looks. That's fine for big dogs, but it isn't great for small dogs like Boston terriers or frenchies, and definitely useless for toy breeds. My dog was able to lift it with the module removed, and that's how he prefers it now. The outer TPU layer is strong and grippy, so it's not a total waste. It looks a little rougher than the pictures appear but my dog doesn't mind. I get it... I"ve worked with TPU before and it's a temperamental material. The price is quite low, but not if you aren't getting use out of the mechanical aspect. This is a good value for the right dog: a medium dog with a snout - maybe a sheltie; definitely a golden. For others, a smaller version would be nice.
