  • The Philodendron 'Golden Crocodile' is a spectacular and trendy tropical hybrid prized for its uniquely textured, serrated foliage and vibrant golden-yellow hue. It’s an eye-catching statement piece for any indoor plant collection. A popular cultivar belonging to the Philodendron genus within the Araceae (Aroid) family. It's sometimes known as 'Golden Saw', 'Golden Serratum', or 'Golden Ring of Fire'.

Its unique and striking foliage is its hallmark. The large, elongated leaves emerge in a vibrant, almost neon, golden-yellow/chartreuse color and develop distinctively deeply lobed, jagged, or serrated edges that give the plant its 'Crocodile' name, resembling the textured skin of the reptile. This bold color and texture make it a highly desirable houseplant.

Grows at a medium rate. It can reach a mature height and spread of about 4 feet indoors over time.

  • Prefers bright, indirect light. The more light it receives, the more vibrant its golden color will be. It can tolerate medium light, but avoid direct, harsh sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

Water when the top 1-2 inches (2.5 - 5 cm) of soil is dry to the touch. It’s better to slightly underwater than overwater, as it is susceptible to root rot.

Use a rich, well-draining, chunky aroid potting mix (a blend often containing potting soil, perlite, orchid bark, or coco coir) to ensure good aeration and drainage.

Love these!
Size: 9"
We use these quite often. I try to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible and not only are these the best value we have found for compostable plates, they are also more sturdy than traditional paper plates. I don't think I will ever go back to non compostable plates.

Better than paper plates
Size: 9"
Both convenient and sturdy...great for serving lunch and dinner...the smaller plates are great for dessert or breakfast (toast, muffins, quiche)
