About Sedeveria Markus
Sedeveria Markus is a succulent plant with a compact and charming growth habit. It has plump, elongated oval leaves with a smooth surface, usually dark green, sometimes with a reddish edge. Sedeveria Markus is a hybrid of Echeveria and Sedum, inheriting the characteristics of both, with the compact and graceful appearance of Echeveria and the drought and cold resistance of Sedum. Under suitable conditions, it quickly forms side shoots and develops into a multi-headed stump.
How to care for Sedeveria Markus
Sun/Temperature: To properly care for Sedeveria Markus, it thrives best within an ideal temperature range of 60°F to 75°F. It enjoys ample sunlight but should be protected from intense sunlight, especially during hot summers, to avoid leaf sunburn. It should be moved indoors to a warm environment during cold winters, avoiding temperatures below 30°F.
Soil/Watering: The soil should be well-draining and fertile, with the addition of some perlite or sandy soil to improve drainage. Sedeveria Markus prefers to remain dry, so avoid overwatering. Watering should only be done when the soil is arid to prevent root rot.
