How to Build the Shelves

Purchase the Merbau decking from Bunnings.

Cut it to size using a hand saw or circular saw.

Lay the planks across the top of the frame.

Optional: Screw the planks into the frame for extra security. Alternatively you can screw in a two wooden planks to the underside of the wood so that it can't slip off the frame.
This lets you fully customise the look — rustic, modern, stained, painted — whatever suits your space.
