We've selected 30 of our best open-pollinated varieties especially suited for providing reliable food production and seed saving options. Knowing how to grow at least a portion of your own seed can be a very rewarding and beneficial aspect of food gardening. Each collection contains 27 vegetable, 2 herb, and 1 sunflower seed packages. All sizes are samplers unless otherwise noted. Sealed in a waterproof plastic bucket with 2 desiccant packages (helps to extend seed life) and a Territorial Seed Company Catalog with valuable growing information.

Food, and personal food security is at the top everyone’s thoughts when planning and preparation for an emergency. Many of our customers have asked for Territorial’s recommendations for seed varieties they should stock up on for their own seed bank and for growing each year as a well-rounded nutritionally balanced food supply they can depend on.

Our open-pollinated seed collections were carefully thought out by our seed research staff and represents the actual seed varieties we would choose to have on hand in the event of an emergency. They were chosen for such things as ability to grow in low-input conditions, good root systems for drought tolerance, early maturity for quickest food production, nutritional value, high yielding for more food for your effort, and natural disease resistance. And maybe most importantly they are all Open-Pollinated. This will allow you to save your own seed of these varieties perpetually on into the future. Many of the varieties offered in these collections are our own strains and are exclusive to Territorial, as they come from our own land-race breeding enhancement program.
