  • Dieffenbachia 'Green Magic' is a tropical houseplant with deep green foliage and a striking, singular white midrib. A member of the Araceae family, this cultivar traces its origins to Central and South American rainforests, where Dieffenbachia species thrive in humid, shaded understories. Unlike variegated varieties that display multiple patterns or speckling, 'Green Magic' is celebrated for its solid, glossy green leaves that create a rich, uniform canopy. The sharp contrast of the white central vein against the dark green leaf surface gives it a bold, graphic look that stands out among indoor plants.

Mature Dieffenbachia 'Green Magic' plants typically grow to a height of 2 to 3 feet indoors, with broad leaves held upright on thick, cane-like stems. Its natural growth habit is compact and dense, allowing it to serve beautifully as a tabletop plant in its younger stages and later as a floor accent as it matures. The leaves can reach up to 10–12 inches long, providing a lush, full appearance without needing constant maintenance. This structural quality makes it a popular choice for modern, minimalist interiors seeking clean foliage lines.

Compared to other Dieffenbachia varieties, 'Green Magic' is distinctive for its simplicity and elegance. While many Dumb Cane cultivars are prized for bold variegation, the solid dark green of 'Green Magic' adds sophistication and depth, especially when displayed against lighter walls or alongside more colorful plants. The plant’s consistent, symmetrical appearance brings a calming, organized feel to any indoor setting.

Though it is not officially recognized on major air-purifying plant lists, like many Dieffenbachias, Green Magic can contribute to better indoor air quality through natural gas exchange. Its adaptability to lower light conditions and moderate care needs makes it a resilient choice for beginners and busy plant owners alike. However, it’s essential to remember that all parts of the plant are toxic if ingested, so it should be kept away from pets and children.

  •  Thrives in bright, indirect light, which keeps the foliage vivid and lush. It can tolerate medium to low light but may experience slower growth.

Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry, maintaining even soil moisture without letting it become soggy. Good drainage is key to preventing root rot.

Prefers moderate to high humidity levels, around 50–60%. Occasional misting or placing it near a humidifier can support healthier leaf growth.

Grows well between 65–80°F. Keep it away from cold drafts and temperatures below 55°F (13°C) to avoid damage.

Thrives in a rich, well-draining potting mix composed of peat moss, perlite, and compost. The soil should retain some moisture but never stay soggy.

Feed once a month during the growing season with a balanced, diluted liquid fertilizer. Reduce feeding in fall and winter when growth naturally slows.

Dieffenbachia 'Green Magic' is toxic if ingested by pets or humans. Take precautions to place it where children and animals cannot access it.

Toddler Approved!
Size: 4 Ounce (Pack of 1), Set name: A. Strawberry Mango
I never thought I’d describe toothpaste as “fun,” but here we are... I bought this Boka strawberry mango flavor for my toddler — I figured he would enjoy this over a mint flavor because what kid enjoys a harsh, burning feeling? It smells fruity and tastes like a smoothie. We are still practicing brushing but this toothpaste helps encourage the importance of daily teeth maintenance. Also, I love that it’s fluoride-free and I am not worried if it's swallowed. It is pricier than I would prefer, but it has lasted so long that I've came to terms that it's worth the cost.

Made in America nano-hydroxyapatite Toothpaste that's Well Worth Buying.
Size: 4 Ounce (Pack of 3), Set name: E. Orange Cream, Watermelon Mint, Strawberry Mango
This review is pretty much the same as the one I wrote for the Boka Coco Ginger. Boka Toothpaste is just that good. I've been using the Japanese brand Apagard Premio toothpaste for a couple of years now and recently I noticed this Boka toothpaste while looking for alternatives that wold be less costly. I've been using this toothpaste since the end of May, 2025. I wish they would sell it in larger tubes. Boka Toothpaste is very mild and makes brushing your teeth better. It doesn't have that harsh mint flavor which with most toothpastes feels like it's burning your mouth. It comes in multiple flavors and when you're done brushing your teeth, there is no need to rinse your mouth as it is a safe toothpaste to use. After having used it for a few days, I decided that I will keep using the Boka brand from now on. I just wish that most stores would carry this toothpaste instead pf selling all those major brands which are full of fluoride. Did a bit of research and found that Boka Toothpaste has the same percentage of nano-hydroxyapatite as Apagard Premio which is 10%. So that means that Boka Toothpaste is just as good if not better. No Fluoride No Harsh burning Mint Flavor Safe to shallow Multiple flavors 10% nano-hydroxyapatite Keeps your teeth Strong And one thing I've noticed is nano-hydroxyapatite makes your teeth less sensitive by rebuilding your tooth enamel I ordered four flavors, Watermelon Mint, Strawberry Mango, Orange Cream and Coco Ginger. So far, I've tried the Coco Ginger and I was surprised at how mild it was and it didn't have the sharp taste that ginger usually has. It is good and I enjoy it. I also tried the Orange Cream which was good. I'm looking forward to trying the other flavors. The Orange Cream I'm sure my wife will like if I can get her to try it. But she can be very stubborn at times. I see there are some other flavors which I intend to try such as the Cinnamint, Cucumber Dill, Lemon Lavender and Strawberry Basil. Not sure if I should try the Ela Mint as I don't know how strong or mild the mint will be. I'm sure that if places such as Walmart brick & mortar stores sold this toothpaste, that it would sell really well.

Favorite toddler toothpaste
Size: 4 Ounce (Pack of 1), Set name: A. Strawberry Mango
I bought this for my 18month old who has all his teeth already. It works great. The smell is pleasant, the taste isn’t harsh, and the texture isn’t as thick as most toothpastes - perfect for a toddler. I’ve been using this for a couple of months now and have not noticed any irritation. He enjoys it about as much as any 18 month will, ha! It’s just as effective as fluorinated toothpaste. You get what you pay for. It’s a big tube!

Good flavor, not as full of tubes as I expected.
Size: 4 Ounce (Pack of 2), Set name: G. Orange Cream, Ela Mint
My kids have LOVED brushing their teeth with this. They had been fighting to let us brush for a while, so it was nice to find something they liked. My husband and I have been using the mint flavor, and it’s been good as well. We like the ingredients, and the texture is nice. The tubes both felt like they could have fit more, so I took off a star for size/value.

Very effective!
Size: 4 Ounce (Pack of 1), Set name: A. Strawberry Mango
I switched my son to this toothpaste and it has been great! I haven’t noticed whitening, but his teeth do look good and clean after he has brushed. He loves the flavor. And he is one to complain about “spicy” toothpaste. This toothpaste has never been whined about in my household. In fact, switching to this toothpaste has made brushing his teeth simpler because he enjoys the flavor so much. I have noticed it doesn’t foam up like other toothpaste’s do. Another side story, and probably the biggest thing, I think this is actually shrinking my sons cavities. His pediatric dentist told me he would need fillings before his teeth could fall out at 12 (12 year molars). I saw the cavities on the xrays. A year later, the cavities are smaller. And the dentist said if things can maintain this way, there will be no need for fillings! He does brush morning and night, and often after lunch because we homeschool and he has that ability. But I’m just thrilled that my son could potentially avoid this procedure!
