Lantana plants have a unique vine-like sprawling appearance from woody branches, making them popular to grow in outdoor hanging baskets or as ground covers. Lantana is known for its rounded clusters of small, brightly colored flowers that may be yellow, orange, white, red, pink, blue, or purple. Often the almost fluorescent colors are mixed within the same cluster, creating a bicolored effect.
- The leaves have a sandpaper-like texture. Although many dislike the sharp, citrusy smell of this plant, the aroma of their foliage qualifies them as fragrant plants. The flower's nectar attracts several species of butterflies including the spicebush swallowtail.
- Lantana plants are evergreens of the broadleaf variety. Although they may act like a vine, they are classified by botanists as shrubs. Lantana's colorful blooms make good specimen plants. They are also used as border shrubs and as ground cover in areas with full sunshine in warm climates.
- Lantana plants like full sun. The plant should receive at least six hours (or more) of direct sunlight every day. It can tolerate some afternoon shade but will flower less if planted in a shady spot.
- Water lantana thoroughly, about one inch per week, and do not let it dry out. With sandy soil, you will likely need to water every day. If blooming has slowed or stopped altogether, try more water.

Opener leaves wire threads on the rim of the can when opening. Poses a danger if ingested.

Purchased this item hoping it would make opening cans easier (I have osteoarthritis in my hands). First time I tried it, after it rounded the lid of a can of DelMonte green beans, nothing. I reseated it, and held it down when it started. It opened the can after circling the top two times. When I took the lid off the can, there were tiny wire "threads" stuck on the can, and more stuck on the Kitchen Mama opener. I was able to very carefully wipe the wire threads off and pour the can of beans into my pan. HOWEVER, I will not use this product again. Who wants to run the risk of ingesting wire threads?!!! I would return the product for a refund, but my husband destroyed the box opening it, so this will go into the garbage. I wouldn't sell at a garage sale or donate it, because someone else might ingest the wire threads, and then Kitchen Mama would have a lawsuit on their hands I wouldn't have given ANY stars, but you have to give at least one to write a review.

I wanted to add that Kitchen Mama’s customer service was genuinely great. They followed up, honored the warranty, and sent me a replacement even though I couldn’t provide photos at the time. The replacement works perfectly and the experience was way less stressful than I expected.

I just needed a simple electric can opener because I have crippling pain in my hands and I can't use a manual one. I didn't expect anything fancy but for the one job this thing had it still really let me down.
This thing is so slow it reminds me of my AOL days. And when it's done, it just... keeps going. When you turn it off it takes FOREVER to wind down. The first few times I tried yanking it off because I thought it was stuck.
And then it fully died in under a year.
But honestly maybe what bothers me the most of all is when I contacted customer support about the warranty replacement, I got an email back asking for photographic proof that my BATTERIES WERE IN CORRECTLY. Really?
(A photo that I could not provide because it had broken days earlier and I threw it in the trash, who hoards broken appliances?).
I really expected better from a ‘reputable’ brand.

Great opener

Had a battery operated can opener before and was always changing the batteries. Love the safety cut and this works great now that I can just charge it with my phone charger. Fits in my drawer so no counter space used
