This deer-resistant endemic, named in 1995, is native to a very small region of dry, rain-shadow deserts of Nuevo Leon (northern Mexico) between 3000 and 4000' elevation. Yucca linearifolia, which is one of the finest yuccas we've ever grown, is surprisingly little known in cultivation, but we aim to change that. Expect a 4' tall specimen in 10 years. The white bell-shaped Yucca blooms are a hummingbird favorite.
