The Yucca ‘Blue Boy’ is a striking ornamental plant known for its bold, colorful leaves. It is popular in both gardens and containers because it combines toughness with unique beauty. This yucca is easy to grow and adds year-round interest to sunny landscapes. It works well in modern, desert-style, and low-maintenance gardens.

This plant is most often called “Blue Boy Yucca.” It can be grown in the ground in warm regions or in large pots for patios, decks, and entryways. It is a great choice for dry gardens, mixed borders, or as a focal point in a rock garden.

Yucca ‘Blue Boy’ is a hybrid variety, so it does not grow naturally in the wild.

This yucca has long, sword-shaped leaves that change color throughout the year.

Young leaves may start green, then turn shades of blue, purple, and smoky bronze.

It grows slowly, can grow up to 6 feet tall, and up to 5 feet wide.

Over time, it can form multiple clumps, creating a full and dramatic look.

In summer, tall flower stalks rise from the center of the plant, holding clusters of creamy white, bell-shaped blooms.

These flowers are attractive to pollinators and stand out against the colorful leaves. While the flowers are beautiful, the plant’s foliage is its main highlight.

When it comes to care, the Yucca ‘Blue Boy’ grows best in full sun but will tolerate light shade. It prefers well-drained succulent  soil, opens in a new tab and does not like to stay wet. Water deeply, but only when the soil is dry.

Once established, it is very drought-tolerantIt can handle hot summers and mild winters, growing best in USDA zones 7 to 10.

Indoors, keep it near a bright window and avoid overwatering.

This yucca needs very little care. Remove old, dead leaves at the base to keep it neat, and cut off flower stalks after blooming. It does not require regular pruning and is generally pest-free.

Overall, the Yucca ‘Blue Boy’ special is its shifting leaf colors, which bring changing beauty to the garden in every season. It is tough, drought-tolerant, and low-maintenance, making it perfect for gardeners who want a bold plant without much work. Whether in a pot or in the ground, it is sure to stand out.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

A good read
Format: Kindle
A good read, just fluffy cuteness, no antagonism. I like all the characters. It could have used another round of editing however, glanfds being one error that cracked me up, and my personal pet peeve was that the author kept using the word fill instead of feel, which I promise you are not interchangeable haha, but it's definitely better than the majority of books I read on here mistake-wise.
