CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright but diffused light. While common (green) aglaonemas tolerate even very dark corners of a room excellently, this red variety needs a bit more light to maintain and preserve its bright red coloring. However, it must be strictly protected from direct, scorching sunlight, which will quickly burn its colorful leaves.

• 💧 Watering: Moderate. Allow the top layer of soil (about 3-5 cm deep) to dry out completely between watering. Aglaonemas tolerate slight drying out much better than overwatering! If the plant sits in standing water in the saucer, it will quickly respond with yellow leaves and root rot. Reduce watering slightly during the winter months.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Thrives well at standard room temperature and adapts quite well to normal, dry indoor air (though it will appreciate increased humidity). The most important rule – aglaonemas hate cold! Protect it strictly from cold drafts, air conditioners, and open windows in winter (temperature must not drop below 15°C).

• 🐾 Pets: Not pet-friendly. The plant is toxic to cats and dogs. Its leaves and stems contain insoluble calcium oxalate crystals, which cause severe mouth irritation, drooling, swelling, and digestive issues if chewed. Keep it out of reach of your pets!
