I have to say these were one of the gnarliest looking pods of all the peppers we grew this year. The pods are 1.5 to 2.5 inches long and very spiky; some with longer tails than others. They ripen from green to bright red. Heat is very intense and a very fast burn and the flavor is very sweet with a slight smokiness if you have the tolerance to taste it.
Heat level: Approx. 1,000,000 - 1,200,000 (SHU) Scoville Heat Units – Extremely Hot.
Flavor: Sweet with a slight smokiness.
