Item # AVGR-OPTC1G-04 - View SDS

Avenger® AG Optima is an excellent botanical alternative to synthetic, toxic herbicides when you need to use in areas where children and pets are present. It’s intended for both agricultural and non-agricultural use and has a more economical dilution ratio versus competitors.  Using a natural citrus oil base, this is a non-selective herbicide that kills a broad spectrum of weeds and unwanted grasses naturally and quickly. Its main ingredient is d-Limonene and it is for use in organic production around both food crop and non-crop areas. Always follow label directions.

  • Environment: Outdoors, Crops, Orchards & Vineyards, Nursery
  • Active Ingredients: d-Limonene (citrus oil)
  • Shelf Life: 2 years from manufacture date
  • Toxicity: No toxicity known
  • Certifications: EPA, USDA NOP
  • Storage: Store in original container

 How to Use:

Mix this product in clean water and apply to the foliage of vegetation to be controlled. Spray until weeds are thoroughly wet. Because the underside of the weed leaf may be more susceptible, side sprays are recommended.

Environmental Conditions:

Avenger® AG Optima is effective over a wide range of environmental conditions. Cool weather may slow the activity of the product. For best results, spray when ambient high temperatures are expected above 50°F and lows above freezing. On cooler days, spray during the warm part of the day. Allow heavy dew to evaporate prior to Avenger® AG Optima applications. Do not apply if windy conditions exist or rain is expected within 2 hours.

 Mixing of Avenger® AG Optima:

Fill the spray tank ½ full with clean water. Add Avenger® AG Optima while agitating. Then fill remainder with water.

Tank Mixing of Avenger® AG Optima:

Fill the spray tank ½ full with clean water. Add any dry formulations and then liquid formulations to the tank. Add Avenger® AG Optima while agitating. Then fill remainder with water.

 Restrictions:

Do NOT exceed 5 gallons of Avenger® AG Optima (20.4 lbs. d-limonene) per acre per application. Do NOT exceed a total of 16 gallons of Avenger® AG Optima (65.1 lbs. d-limonene; Table 1) per acre per year. Determine the final desired finished spray volume according to the appropriate dilution as describe in Table 1. Irrigation and Aerial

Applications: Do not apply this product through any type of irrigation system or by aerial application.

 Spray Drift Management:

Follow directions for minimizing spray drift. Do not allow the herbicide solution to contact desirable vegetation as small amounts can cause severe damage to crops and other desirable plants. AVOID CONTACT WITH CROP – Intentional or accidental contact (including drift) of Avenger® AG Optima with the crop may result in severe damage or loss of the crop.

 Application Rate:

Four types of applications are described below: Broadcast, Banded, Spot and Pre-Harvest Desiccation. Mixing volumes for two dilution rates are found in Table 1. Apply Avenger® AG Optima at a 7-10% mixture depending on the size of the weeds. For smaller, young, actively growing weeds and grasses, apply the lower 7% mixture. For controlling larger, tough to kill weeds, use the higher 10% mixture. Use the lowest mixture whenever possible to control weeds and grass.

  • Broadcast Applications: Broadcast treatments are used for burndown of unwanted weeds and grass across a field or a plot or apply to burndown winter foliage. Apply Avenger® AG Optima at pre-emergence or at planting. Applications must be made before seedling emergence to avoid severe injury. Allow at least 2 days between application and transplanting. Spray until weeds and grass are thoroughly wet.
  • Banded Applications: Control or suppression of emerged weeds and grasses in row middles and between vines and trees. Apply Avenger® AG Optima at a 7-10% mixture depending on the size of the weeds. Only use the 10% mixture when absolutely necessary to control difficult weeds. Apply by directing spray between the rows and using hooded sprayers to prevent spray contact with crop plants. Keep hoods adjusted to ensure adequate contact with weeds and grass while shielding the crop from the herbicide. To minimize drift, do not use nozzles or nozzle configurations that produce fine droplets (mist).
  • Spot Applications: In cool situations or for tough to kill weeds, a more concentrated spray of d-limonene may be needed. In such situations, a 10% mixture of Avenger® AG Optima (1:10 mixture) may be used up to one (1) week before harvest (see Table 1).
  • Pre-Harvest Desiccation of Vegetable Vines: Apply Avenger® AG Optima at a 7 or 10% mixture to aid in the desiccation of vegetable vines prior to harvest operations. A second application may be necessary to obtain sufficient desiccation.

Wow!
Format: Kindle
This book was awesome! Seraphina and her family have moved to a new town. Her family is a bit... odd. She grew up learning how to protect herself from people who might hurt her. Bloodshed is a daily occurrence with her brothers and parents during their practice sessions, and it’s all fun and games unless you need to hide a body. Sera’s family is very close, and she’s been homeschooled most of her life. But in this new town she is going to start regular school as a senior at the local high school. Unfortunately, things at her school aren’t all they seem to be. Or perhaps more than they seem to be. Sera has her own demons to deal with, and she’s terrified her new friends will learn about her weird family and other issues and drop her like a rock. It turns out they have their own secrets as well. This story ends on a bit of a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to read the next one! This book is well written and well edited. The heroine is spunky and has a great heart and wicked sense of humor.

A Fox Amongst the Wolves
Format: Kindle
Collette has been forgotten about her whole life. Her parents don't bother with her, others don't try either once they realize she uses sign language to speak, and she's a shifter surrounded by humans that hate her kind. On her 18th birthday, she runs away. She takes the train and then bus wherever it can get her as far from home as possible. A missed bus brings her and a mysterious but kind man to Willowdale. What happens next is a story of fated mates, shifters, magic, new best friends and found family, and a stolen child. I'm sad this was a shorter read but only because of how much I loved Collette, Dylan, Hunter, Luca, Lena, and the others in their community. I love how detailed the characters are even with the shorter story. You can tell their characteristics easily, and the lead in to book two is done so well. I loved this insta love book with just the right amount of drama.

An easy PNR book to cure book hangovers.....
Format: Kindle
I enjoyed this as a short story; but nothing truly pulled me into this world to want to keep reading each story. I can sense the overarching villain arc w/ the HAF; yet it still wasn't enough to capture me long-term. It felt like too much focus was placed on progressing the romance part that everything else took a non-existent back seat. This did work well for my intentions of getting over a book-hangover slump. So there's that lol. A Tip to overcome a PNR book hangover, from a wonderful series or novel......read a trope-y, lighthearted, PNR that is easily predictable but adorable. Like this book. Honestly, I'm rarely into short stories that are turned into a ridiculous amount of books on different PNR characters. So I'm not the best at judging the merits of these stories. I'm a long-haul type of reader that lives for a series surrounding 1 lead female character & her harem (or singular partner). Occassionally, I'll find a series of short stories that are interesting enough to finish or pull me in completely. The rarity of that is countable on 1.5 hands, compared to the literal hundreds of fiction books I've read lol. With all of that, I will say this was fun because of the FMC's difficulties growing up & how that made her strong, the end reveals of her life, & the cute Epilogues. I never felt truly connected to any of the characters; but I did feel slightly compelled to just finish it to see how plot points would end. Unfortunately, due to a lack of character backstory explanations, I still don't understand Collete's "magic". Very little time was given to flesh out the backstory of the world this occurs in. I couldn't even guess what type of magic occurs in this world, aside from what little was revealed. A random scene sticks out to me...... we're introduced to a new magic type, in passing. No dialogue to expand. No hint at anything really. Then the scene moves on. That moment felt pointless to even mention, afterwards. It felt like the author was more concerned w/ romance than storyline. This is a common issue I have w/ short stories....authors write them for whatever reason; but too often it's an "either or" theme.....EITHER the author is writing ONLY for romance w/ storyline taking a minor role OR writing ONLY for storyline w/ some romance that ends up feeling forced. As I mentioned earlier, only a handful of short stories series have ever had a balance of both sides, for me, that I wanted to read all of them.

Great RH shapeshifting romance!
Format: Kindle
Oh my gosh, I adored this book! Voiceless is set in a blended reality with humans, witches, and shapeshifters of all kinds, but with a significant lack of acceptance from the humans that results in violence. And I am sucker for fated-mates/insta-connection and you get that in heaps and bounds in Voiceless! Colette’s introduction to the supernatural world added some challenges on top of not being able to effectively communicate with those around her. I enjoyed the overall plot; that there was danger and confrontation and resolution, albeit not nearly as much as I wanted. Voiceless is a short read and things escalate at a fast pace and a resolution is reached just as quickly. As a result, I think we miss out a bit on relationship and character development that we could’ve had if the book was little longer. While this is a RH/why-choose, most, if not all of the spice, is exclusively MF.

Cute
Format: Kindle
Very insta-love, but also cute with likable characters. The plot was good, though lacking in depth. The spice was fairly abrupt and lack-luster. Am enjoyable read, overall.
