High yielding, high quality and rust resistant, it's an ideal grass for late-spring grazing. Selected because of its palatable flavor. Used primarily for hay mixes in the U.S., Climax Timothy grass is also well-adapted to high elevations and to areas with an average rainfall of 18 inches or more.
Light Requirement: Sun to Partial Shade Up to 4ft. in height
Seeding Rate: 15-20 lbs. per acre or 1 lb. per 1000 sq. ft. for small plantings. Excellent forage for horses and other livestock.
