Sedum spurium 'Dragon's Blood' is an evergreen perennial with rounded, succulent leaves that turn burgundy in winter. The foliage tends to turn green during the summer. Sedum 'Dragon's Blood' spreads by trailing stems that root at the nodes. Its deep crimson flowers appear in August. Like other Stonecrop, this makes a great ground cover and is also nice in containers, rock gardens and borders.

Sedum spurium 'Dragon's Blood' prefers full sun and medium to dry, well-drained soil. It is drought tolerant and suitable for coastal conditions.
