Description

The Companion Book to the Film: American Sasquatch by David Paulides - includes the Bigfoot Sightings Map!

For centuries, eyewitnesses across North America have reported encounters with a towering, elusive creature lurking at the edges of the wilderness — a being that defies easy explanation and refuses to be dismissed. In American Sasquatch: Man, Myth or Monster, renowned researcher and former law enforcement officer David Paulides brings his trademark investigative rigour to one of the most enduring and controversial mysteries in human history.

Drawing on decades of fieldwork, firsthand witness testimony, and forensic analysis, Paulides examines the evidence for Sasquatch with the same disciplined, no-nonsense approach he applied throughout his career in law enforcement. He cuts through the noise of hoaxes and sensationalism to ask the questions that matter most: Who — or what — are the credible witnesses really seeing? What does the physical and biological evidence actually tell us? And why has mainstream science been so reluctant to take this phenomenon seriously?

From the dense forests of the Pacific Northwest to the remote Appalachian hollows of the East, Paulides maps a compelling body of evidence that spans Native American oral traditions, military encounters, and modern-day sightings reported by hunters, hikers, and ordinary citizens. He explores the cultural and historical dimensions of the Sasquatch legend while grounding the discussion in the kind of documented, verifiable detail that sets his research apart.

Whether you're a seasoned researcher, a curious skeptic, or someone who has seen something in the woods you can't explain, this book will challenge everything you think you know.

Author Biography

Dave Paulides holds two degrees from the University of San Francisco, and has a professional background that includes twenty years in law enforcement and senior executive positions in the technology sector. A boyhood camping experience with his father in the late 1960s sparked his interest in Bigfoot. In 2004 he formed North America Bigfoot Search where his investigative and analytical experience were invaluable in researching Bigfoot sightings. He spent two years living among the Hoopa tribal members, listening to and recording their Bigfoot stories. The Hoopa Project is his first book, based upon his experiences in the Bluff Creek area of Northern California. Harvey Pratt was educated at the University of Central Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. During his forty-year career in law enforcement he was involved in many high-profile investigations, including the Green River killer, BTK killer, Ted Bundy, the I-5 killer, and the Murrah Federal Building bombing. Harvey is a highly skilled forensic sketch artist specializing in witness descriptive drawing, skull tracing, age progression, soft tissue reconstruction, and photo restoration. Harvey is a member of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes and is recognized as one of the traditional Cheyenne Peace Chiefs.

Book Reviews

What a wonderful record of the truth and nothing but the truth according to news paper reporters from all over. What more do you need than all this research put in one book at your fingertips. Tired of trying to beat the truth into the heads of your family and friends? Buy this book and put it on your coffee table. One article is worth a thousand words, well how about one book worth three hundred plus articles? No one could really find fault in these accounts, if you did you would have to go dig up the authors of these published facts. News paper reporters from the old days had integrity more so than todays media madhouse.

Easy assembly
Color: Silver
Super easy assembly, one screw in tree trunk is unscrewed to place bowl and tree together - Phillips screwdriver needed. I bought the silver ring holder which perfectly suits my personality and decorative style. Can't tell you how wonderful it feels to finally have all of my rings off of my desk and stored in an easy to find place! Space saving is high on my list because I currently live in a 28' camper, so do not have my larger jewelry boxes in here with me. It only arrived today (7/28/2019) so this is with only a single days use, but am very pleased with the purchase and value for the ring holder - I was specifically looking for an inexpensive metal ring tree versus a plastic one.

A Unique Jewelry Stand
Color: B-Metal Antique Greenish, Color: B-Metal Antique Greenish
When I received the item, it was in bubble wrap and taped. It's like a spider's nest, so the item is safe during delivery. It is attached to the tree by a screw. The golden appearance and the patterns cut within the work look good. My only dislike about the item is that it accidentally poked my sister's thumb because some of the ends of the tree branches are not smooth out. Stability is good. However, I do think the screw loosens over time. It's heavy enough to keep itself in place. For what you're getting, it is decent for the price.
