Introducing the Aeonium Shaohua, which is a captivating succulent that belongs to the Aeonium, opens in a new tab genus. Native to the Canary Islands, it is commonly referred to simply as "Shaohua," known for its stunning rosettes and colorful leaves.

When fully grown, the Aeonium Shaohua can grow up to 3 feet tall and 2 feet wide. The plant's primary feature is its rosette of thick, fleshy leaves, which can range in color from deep green to purple, often with variegated patterns. These rosettes create a bold and visually appealing display. The plant's stems are sturdy and can become quite woody as it matures, adding to its overall structural appeal.

The flowers of Aeonium Shaohua bloom during the spring and summer, with the cluster of small, star-shaped flowers on tall, slender stalks emerging from the center of the rosettes.

The flowers are typically yellow, adding a cheerful contrast to the darker foliage. While the blooms are not the main attraction of the plant, they add an extra layer of beauty and interest.

Caring for Aeonium Shaohua is relatively straightforward, making it an excellent choice for both novice and experienced gardeners.

This succulent prefers bright, indirect sunlight. While it can tolerate some direct sun, too much exposure can cause the leaves to scorch. Indoors, placing the plant near a south or west-facing window is ideal.

Like most succulents, Aeonium Shaohua requires well-drained  specialized succulent soil, opens in a new tab and should be watered sparingly. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings to prevent root rot. During the dormant period in summer, reduce watering significantly.

A well-draining, sandy soil mix designed for cacti and succulents is best Aeonium Shaohua thrives in average indoor temperatures ranging from 65°F to 75°F. It should be kept away from cold drafts and sudden temperature fluctuations. This plant thrives outdoors in USDA zones 9-11. In colder climates, it should be brought indoors or protected during the winter months.

The Aeonium Shaohua can be propagated easily through stem cuttings or offsets. Cut a healthy rosette from the main plant, let it dry, and plant it in well-draining soil. Water sparingly until roots develop. Offsets, or "pups," can be separated and potted individually. Ensure the offsets have their own roots before planting.

Overall, the Aeonium Shaohua is a versatile and visually striking succulent that adds architectural beauty to any garden or indoor space. Its resilience and low-maintenance nature make it an ideal choice for gardeners looking to add a touch of elegance and color to their plant collection. With proper care and attention, this plant will thrive and become a standout feature in any landscape, providing year-round interest and charm.

Durable, Dogs love it
Color: Red
My Frenchie is a crazy chewer and can chew up a nylabone in a day, so I was looking for something that would last longer. So far this is holding up, and is pretty durable. Both my dogs like it a lot, it’s easy for them to grasp, and chewable but still very tough material. I suspect at some point it’ll wear down, but not for a while. The size was just as described / expected. Not too small and not too big

NOT FOR PLAYING CATCH.
Color: Blue
This toy is quite heavy, making it good for a chew toy or for fetch, but not for catch. It could very easily injure your dog as it damned near did mine.

Durable bone that you can add a spreadable treat to
Color: Blue
Our German Shepherd was 4 months old when we purchased this. She’s going to be 6 months soon. She has been teething really bad. We wanted some way to sooth her pain. This product was just what we needed. We put it in the freezer with some peanut butter in the center on both sides. Once frozen we give to our puppy. She loves it. When we open the freezer she recognizes the ziplock package that it was delivered in which we store it in our freezer. She jumps around until we give it to her. She loves it and it keeps her occupied for a while. It is very durable. I did not notice any smell when we received it. It does not make any noise. The plastic material is safe for animals. To clean I put in the dishwasher. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because sometimes the peanut butter gets stuck in it and may need to go through the dishwasher twice which is not a big deal. Or you can hand wash it. I found the dishwasher was best for us. You do not even have to put anything on it, but our pup likes it. I would recommend to others.
