The Philodendron scandens is a classic favourite for a reason: fast-growing, low-maintenance and beautifully versatile. This unique batch has been trained onto a 120 cm wire pole, giving the plant strong, upright support while encouraging fuller growth and a more mature appearance.

At Kwekerij Dirk Mermans, we normally produce scandens exclusively in hydroculture. These soil-grown plants are therefore a rare exception and available in very limited quantities. They are ideal for anyone looking for an already established, vertically trained Philodendron with immediate visual impact.

As the vines climb the wire pole, the leaves naturally become larger and more heart-shaped, creating a lush, elegant statement plant for any interior.

    Great for chewers
    Size: Large
I have bought these for the dogs (GSD/Husky/Golden) 4 mon-7yrs. All 4 dogs enjoy them and keeps the 2 puppies from chewing things they should not. Definitely worth the money for how long they have lasted as well. Have already ordered more.

Not as safe as it seems
    Size: Xtra Large
I did like the look and sound of the all natural wood and coconut rope. However after 15 minutes of giving it to my dog there were rope fibers everywhere. Even though my research said coconut rope was ok for dogs in small amounts; my dog started throwing up. My cat also managed to get ahold of some of the strings and ended up choking. Even when I took the rope off and gave just the coffee wood stick; after just a few minutes of play my dog began coughing. This is just the experience that I had. All dogs are different. Just please don’t let your best friend play with it unsupervised

    Do research
    Size: Small
My pups love to shred things. This was a good toy for them to satisfy their need to shred things. My dogs are on the smaller side and I went with a small. I do encourage people to do their research and not leave this toy unsupervised. If your dog eats toys they shred this might not be a good toy for you. Coconut fiber can become impacted if too much is consumed. Unlike other reviewers I didn’t notice to much of a mess outside any other toy a dog might shred.

    Not Suitable for Power Chewers
    Size: Large
Coconut fiber toys aren’t ideal for heavy chewers. They shred easily, can be swallowed, and may cause choking or intestinal blockages. The coffee wood is a safe durable product and loved but my dogs. I wish I would have done more research before buying the coconut fibers chew.

Dogs love them, not long lasting
    Size: Large
Our dogs ignored the toy for the first day or two, then immediately became obsessed, working on them for hours at a time. They did come with big cracks/splits in them. The first one it wasn’t a big deal, but the dogs pulled large slivers and chunks off the second within minutes of using it. Also, gigantic mess around the house, like letting them play with a stick. I plan to continue to buy since the dogs love them but I do think they are a bit expensive given the quality variations.
