Pilea Peperomioides, or Chinese Money Plant, is a rare houseplant with coin-shaped green leaves. Its round leaves resemble coins, symbolizing wealth and prosperity. Placing this plant in your home or office is believed to attract financial abundance and good luck. The leaves have long, thin leaf stems growing around the trunk of the plant. This unique foliage makes Pilea Peperomioides a bold and precious addition to your houseplant collection.
Pilea Peperomioides is an Asiatic perennial herb native to Yunnan Province in Southern China, growing at the foot of the Himalayas mountains. It is believed that this plant was brought to Scandinavia in the 1940s, and became popular throughout the Nordic countries before spreading to other parts of the world.
Pilea Peperomioides is a fast grower and can reach about 12" in both height and width.
A mature Pilea Peperomioides may produce clusters of small white flowers on pink-tinged stems. -
Pilea Peperomioide needs bright, indirect sunlight. It does not tolerate low light conditions. Too little light can slow down its growth and makes this plant leggy. Avoid harsh direct sun to prevent scorching leaves.
Pilea Peperomioides needs watering about once per week or whenever the first 2" of the soil is dry. Always check the soil before watering and drain well to avoid root rot.
Pilea Peperomioides does not like waterlogged soil, and the best soil for this plant is well-drained, porous potting soil that can promote healthy root development.
This plant grows best in normal room temperatures (between 65°F-85°F). This plant is not frost-tolerant and it does not grow well when the temperature drops below 50°F. Pilea Peperomioides thrives in average indoor humidity, and it is recommended that you mist your plant and use a humidifier when the environment is too dry (humidity level falls below 50%). Low humidity can cause brown patches on the leaves.
This plant should be fertilized once per month during the growing season (spring/summer) with diluted houseplant fertilizer.

The Simple Classic: Effective Filtration and Great Everyday Value

I've been using the Brita Everyday Pitcher for years, and it continues to be the best, most reliable solution for everyday filtered water. While there are more expensive pitchers out there, this model hits the sweet spot of affordability, capacity, and performance.
Taste and Filtration
The difference in taste is noticeable immediately. It does a fantastic job of removing the chlorine taste and odor from my tap water, making it much cleaner and more enjoyable to drink. Good Long Lasting Filters

I've been using Brita pitchers for years and these replacement filters continue to be one of the easiest and most affordable ways to improve the taste of regular tap water without installing a full filtration system. The biggest improvement is definitely the taste. After installing a fresh filter, the water tastes noticeably cleaner and smoother, getting rid of that strong chlorine smell or metallic aftertaste. These standard filters reduce chlorine taste and odor along with impurities like copper, cadmium, and mercury using activated carbon and ion-exchange resin technology. They're also BPA-free and designed to last up to 40 gallons or about two months per filter.
The installation is simple and quick compared to older filter designs. I liked that these no longer require lengthy presoaking and the pull-top cap makes removal easier when it's time to swap filters. The 4 pack is also convenient because it lasts several months for an average household, making it more economical than constantly buying bottled water. My only complaint is that sometimes the water will run through very quickly and other times not so much which makes it harder to discern whether the filter is working effectively. Aside from tha, it seems like a simple and affordable everyday water filter.

Water Comes Out Clean and Tastes Good!

I had a Brita filter while I was in college, and so naturally, I needed to buy the water filter replacements on occasion. These are the original ones from Brita, and they work as well as you would expect! They purify the water you pour into the pitcher, and it tastes good (at least in my opinion)! They feel pretty well made, and I haven't had any issues where the water has come out tasting gross or it getting clogged. It works well, and fits nicely into my pitcher. I've heard others face issues with third-party water filters, so it feels nice to buy the original ones and for them to work without issue.
