Say Goodbye to Algae with Cutrine Plus
Cutrine Plus is a 9% chelated copper algaecide ideal for controlling algae in lakes, reservoirs, farm ponds, fish hatcheries, irrigation systems, and more. It’s far less corrosive and more chemically stable than similar products, and effective even in hard water.
Cutrine Plus works on contact, breaking down algae cells and disrupting photosynthesis. It controls planktonic algae in 24–48 hours and filamentous algae in 3–4 days. Apply early in the season when water reaches 60°F or above for best results and reduced dead growth. Suitable for treating surface algae and algae up to 3 feet deep.
Application rate: 0.6–1.2 gallons per acre-foot of water.
No water use restrictions. Do not use in water containing Koi or hybrid goldfish.
Not available in: CA, CT, ME, MI, NJ, NY, OR, WA.

Cutrine Plus: Keep Pond Water Clean and Clear!
Control typically lasts several weeks to several months, depending on local conditions. Multiple applications may be necessary to maintain season-long control. Reapply as regrowth begins to appear, allowing 1 to 2 weeks between consecutive treatments.
Heavy or out-of-control growth may require more than one application or physical removal to regain control. For best results, apply during periods of minimal water flow. Apply early in the morning on a calm, sunny day. Ensure a minimum contact time of 3 hours.
CUTRINE-PLUS Liquid may be toxic to trout if the carbonate hardness of the treated water is below 50 ppm. Most surface waters exceed this threshold and pose no risk. If you're unsure, test the water using Water Hardness Test Strips. Do not use in water containing Koi or hybrid Goldfish.
To apply: First, determine the volume of water to be treated in acre-feet. Use 1 gallon of CUTRINE-PLUS Liquid per 1.5 acre-feet of water. Dilute with at least 9 parts water and spray uniformly over the water surface using a sprayer. For improved surface penetration, allow the material to fall in coarse droplets.
Tip: Break apart dense surface mats before application to improve algae contact. Treat heavy infestations in sections to help prevent oxygen depletion.
