This beautiful tree is native to China, Korea and Japan and is very similar to the native U.S. species (C. virginicus). For this reason, we have sourced this particular seed directly from Asia, so there is no confusion.
It tends to be slow growing and will usually only reach a mature height of about 20 feet, with up to a 15-foot spread. This Chinese version is more tree-like and graceful than its straggly American cousin, C. virginicus, and is overall a tidier and tougher plant. It is much more tolerant to drought. It will also fruit solo, which the North American native will not do.
Fringe trees lose their leaves in the winter, but in late spring your tree's glossy green leaves will return. Delicate, lightly fragrant white flowers cover these trees for about two weeks during the spring. Native and pygmy fringe trees flower before new leaves emerge in spring, while Chinese fringe tree blooms at the end of the spring growth flush. In late summer and early fall, they will produce an olive-like fruit that is not edible to humans but is highly attractive to birds.
It is ideal for planting in urban areas due to their pollution tolerance and ability to adapt to a range of soil types. They are are not ideal for the coast however, as they are not salt tolerant. These trees rarely need pruning thanks to a naturally strong branch structure. While they are young, you can prune it to a single trunk or a standard multi-trunked form.
They do not transplant well, so keep this in mind when you are selecting a planting site for your tree. The foliage will look best when the tree is grown in some shade, but flowering will be best in full sun areas. The ideal location for this species is an area where it will receive sunlight through most of the day and some shade during the afternoon. Once established, they require very little maintenance. USDA zone 5-9.

Great filter and easy installation

For my 2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited. I cannot believe I paid so much more for a brand-name filter that does the same thing as this one. It is made of the same material as the dealer one I took out. Very easy to install, cant believe I paid for this to be done in the past with oil changes. Requires no tools and did not get dirty at all. No mechanical skills needed, especially if you run into trouble and can use YouTube.

Fits perfect and works as designed. Flows like OEM and looks well made.

This filter is very comparable to the stock filter. Fits the BMW G20 just like OEM. I would not say it is two times "heavier" as advertised on the box, but it is very comparable to stock. It's the same weight and similar construction. BMW has a very robust cabin filter. This will be my go to. I did purchase another aftermarket cabin filter that fit well, but was thin, flimsy and had a bad chemical odor. This one is fine and airflow is the same as OEM. I change them every year or so. I don't worry too much about longevity with cabin filters personally.

Good quality but it was slightly longer than original and needed modification.

Bought this cabin filter for a 2023 Acura TLX. While the filter seems to be made of quality material, it was just a little too long (about a 1/16 of an inch, so I had to trim it to make it fit so the cover would fit snug. I was able to do that without compromising the filter itself. But this might be an issue for some people

Fits perfectly for my 2017 VW Passat

Bought this for a fraction of the cost. An auto shop wanted to charge me $72.99 for a filter so I bought this Spearhead brand cabin filter and its the perfect size and its just as sturdy as the previous one the dealership had in the car. Not sure yet how the airflow is or if anything different as I have not driven in the car since it was replaced, but it appears to be a very high quality cabin filter for my car at a great price.
