Vigoro All-Purpose Potting Mix is specially blended to be used in containers and pots, both indoors or out. This mix, certified by the Mulch and Soil Council, retains moisture to help your fruit, flowers, vegetables, and herbs thrive. The Vigoro All-Purpose Potting Mix continuously feeds for up to 9 months. To use, simply select a slightly larger pot than your plant with a drainage hole. Fill the pot about 1/3 full, leaving enough room for your plant. Lightly loosen the root ball, place your plant in the pot, and add more potting mix. Gently press the mix, then water and let drain. One 10 qt. bag of Vigoro All-Purpose Potting Mix can fill up a single 8" container. We recommend applying fertilizer according to package directions when plants show signs of slowed growth or foliage turns a lighter shade of green.
