If you are a fan of the Crispy Wave Fern, you will love the Victoria Bird's Nest Fern! Short ripples make their way across the edges of the fronds, creating the feeling of motion. The "bird's nest" portion of the name comes from the growth pattern. In the center of the rosette, there is a brown nest-like structure. This is a fantastic beginner fern. Place your fern in an area where it will get low to bright light, and water when it is about halfway dry. The thick fronds make this fern more tolerant of underwatering than other ferns.

Ferns are pet safe, so no worries for our furry friends here! Ferns thrive in tropical enclosures. Victoria ferns are stiff. Their leaves are able to hold sub adult and juvenile geckos, and as they grow, larger, adult geckos and frogs.

Plants will be shipped bare root and are suitable for a 6 inch pot. Photos are representative and some variation should be expected.

Very well built.
Well build. Very solid for the price. I used #1 AWG cable. I don't like the pinch bolt connection. It tries to drill through the cable, and spreads the strands. Only about 2/3rds are pinched under the knurled bolt tip. I'll keep an eye on it, and if the connection heats up, I'll pull apart, straighten the strands, and tin the ends with solder so they don't crush much. See how that works. A concave, half circle piece under the pinch bolt would be better IMO. That would keep strands together as they crushed down.
