Light: Bright to medium indirect light (low is the least ideal). In the rainforest they would be under lots of foliage so be careful of too much sun for sunburns. Due to the variegation it's recommended to have bright indirect light.
Water: When the top few inches or so of soil has dried out. Increasing humidity for these tropical baddies is recommended.
Pets: Philodendrons vary but can be mild to moderate toxicity for pets.
