Their leaves vine vigorously, making them ideal plants for hanging or allowing to cascade downward from a high shelf.  Like most philodendrons, Micans are fairly easy to care for and propagate, meaning you can expand your own rare plant collection and share it with friends!

Light: This plant prefers bright indirect light, but avoid direct light, as the intense rays will burn its tender leaves. Although it can adapt to a lower light environment, note that less light will impact the fullness and speed at which it grows.

Water: Soil should be kept evenly moist, but never soggy. Water once the soil dries about two inches down in the pot. This plant favors a well-draining potting mixture. Yellowing leaves and mushy stems may indicate that your plant is being watered too frequently, while limp leaves are a good sign that your plant needs a drink.
