You'll be singing the praises of these perfect scented perennials. Sensational!® Lavender (Lavandula x intermedia 'Tesseract' PP# 31786) represents the best of the next generation of Lavender selections.

High performance Sensational! is an impressive, semi-evergreen woody perennial. All parts of this beauty proffer an unforgettable, exquisitely sweet perfume through your landscape.

This robust choice isn't "wimpy", but is rather much sturdier than old-fashioned Lavender varieties. Every feature is thicker, from the blooms themselves to the rugged flower spikes, stems and broad leaves.

Aromatic blue-purple flower spikes are held straight and strong from the center of the mounded foliage. The bloom is bigger, and there are a plethora of blooms per spike.

Branching flower spikes are a very welcome feature of this reblooming variety. After all, more branches mean more flowers!

Sensational! simply looks more lush and full than other options. Compact, but substantial foliage develops into an eye-catching mound of iced tones to cool you down in the heat of summertime.

Not only do the details look broad and strong; but the plant itself displays disease resistance. Sensational! makes it easy for beginning gardeners to enjoy an annual harvest of Lavender.

Grow your own and you'll have plenty of material on hand for cut flower arrangements. Try your hand making other homespun Lavender crafts.

The most important consideration you'll need to make is...how fast can you order these powerhouse perennials? Race against other gardeners who are eager to add these highly desirable Sensational! Lavender to their yard.

How to Use Sensational!® Lavender in the Landscape

This plant is a sport of the Lavender, Phenomenal. It's dramatic good looks and well-behaved nature owes a lot to this perky parent.

Place this superior choice in sunny perennial borders. They'll make a big contribution to Kitchen Gardens and Hops patches with their powerful nectar draw for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.

No Herb Garden would be complete without at least one Lavender variety. Why not create a Knot Garden as a special feature, choosing several of our special Lavenders from Grosso to Munstead?

This plant also makes a wonderful "Thriller" in container gardens. Keep several along your patio for their perfume and to have material near at hand for cutting.

Run a wide row along your sidewalks and garden paths. Create effortless sophistication with a classic mass planting on a slope married to an up-to-date presentation.

Sensational! Lavender is a thoughtful gift plant or Hostess Gift. Order and pot them up for chic wedding table decorations, and raffle them off to your guests as a fun giveaway.

This thick-set selection makes everyone happy! Add to your Lavender collection and use in soap making and other traditional crafts for sale or presents.

#ProPlantTips for Care

Plant them in full sun, where they'll receive at least six hours of direct sunlight a day. Well-draining soil is another must...elevate your planting if you need to improve drainage.

Sensation! is a heat, humidity and cold tolerant rock garden staple.

Extend their life with excellent air circulation. Keep them in sharply drained, poor soil that sheds water quickly, and avoid mulch at the base of the plant.

Prune the flower stems to encourage rebloom. Why not trim nearly spent flowers early to enjoy them fresh...or dry them for long-lasting scented dried flower arrangements.

In early spring, trim any damaged portions as they begin to grow. Remove a few of the woodiest stems out at ground level every few years to rejuvenate your Sensation!

Hurry to place your order, and please don't delay! We'll run out of our limited inventory of Sensational! Lavender quickly.

Our dogs hurt their mouths chewing these bones
Color: Purple & Blue
I don't do a lot of reviews because I realize many are objective opinions. However, in this case I felt it was necessary to warn others. Our dogs are aggressive chewers. Their last rubber bones (not these) which we've purchased before, and recently purchased again, were destroyed quickly. Chunks of rubber came off the ends. Since those didn't hold up like they used to, I found these harder bones hoping they would last longer. They were able to gnaw into the hard plastic within a few minutes. This created sharp edges that cut their mouths. When I saw a bit of blood on the bones, I took them away from the dogs and threw them away. I wondered why they quit chewing on them after being so excited at first. Also, these are hard enough to damage a tooth.
