The retro Ficus Abidjan was popular in the 70's thanks to its striking rubbery, dark purple-looking leaves. Easy to care for and low maintenance, the Rubber Plant doesn't need a lot to thrive. It loves the warmth, so keep the temperatures between 16 and 24°C, and avoid draughts.

Although the Ficus Elastica loves bright, indirect sunlight, it's chill with being in the shade a little too - but, if its leaves start to drop, some more light would be appreciated.

Originally from India, Rubber Plant need watered regularly and misted occasionally to keep them feeling fresh. Give them a monthly feed during spring and summer for them to grow a little extra.

This indoor plant is an average grower and will reach heights of 2m. The Ficus Abidjan just isn't ready to hang up its platform shoes and settle down yet, so it's "not great with" (read poisonous to) kids and pets.

Cheap Insurance - Easy Claims Process!
I bought this warranty plan for a Dell monitor about 3.5 years ago. About a month ago, it started to give me some intermittent problems (very fast flickering & image retention). I tried everything I could to troubleshoot the issue, but it just kept coming back. I had some issues with logging into my Asurion account because I used an EDU email, which I no longer have access to. I sent a message to Asurion here on Amazon and they sent me my plan details and everything I needed to make a claim within 24 hrs. Once I was able to log into my account online, the claims process couldn't be faster/easier. I used the chat function and provided the rep with the issues I was having with my monitor. The rep immediately emailed me a pre-paid UPS label to send my monitor to one of their repair facilities. I got another email when my monitor was received stating that repairs could take up to 5 business days. However, the very next day I got another email stating that my monitor couldn't be repaired and they would be reimbursing me the full purchase price. I received another email with an Amazon gift card for the full price of the monitor within minutes. This is my first experience with Asurion and I'm very impressed. The customer service is top notch. If I ever buy another expensive electronic item from Amazon, I'm definitely buying an extended warranty from Asurion.
