First let me say that I didn't want to have to buy a case for my remote. It's such a beautiful device that I hate to hide it but unfortunately I have to because it's just not very practical to use. And third, I have tile floors so if it ever fell, I know it would shatter. The Fintie case solves all of these problems. It gives the remote just the right amount of thickness and grippiness to make it easy to pick up and use, and I feel like it if ever fell onto my tile floor, the Fintie case would protect it from chips and shatters. Admittedly, the case does detract from the beauty of the remote, but it does make the remote more usable day-to-day. And in a sense it protects the beauty of the remote because a shattered one wouldn't look very nice now would it?
