Having a mix of 36-pin, 12-pin, and round nano cartridges makes this kit much more versatile than single-style refill packs.
I liked being able to switch between gentler skincare applications and more focused microneedling sessions without needing separate orders for different cartridge types.
The cartridges were individually sealed, which added reassurance about cleanliness and storage.
The fit with my compatible device was secure and consistent. Each cartridge locked firmly into place without wobbling or shifting during use, which is something I pay close attention to with replacement tips. The needles moved smoothly across my skin without snagging or dragging, and I did not notice bending or dullness during normal use. The 0.25mm depth is also a comfortable option for lighter at-home treatments with minimal downtime afterward.

Fit my Dr. Pen perfectly!
I picked up this 21-piece microneedling cartridge set for my Dr. Pen device, and overall itβs a very solid value for at-home use. For the price (around the low $30 range), youβre getting a useful mix of 7 nano, 7 12-pin, and 7 36-pin cartridges, which makes it easy to switch between lighter skincare treatments, product infusion, and more intensive microneedling sessions without buying separate packs.
Compatibility was exactly as expected. The cartridges fit my Dr. Pen M7 securely with no looseness or alignment issues. They clicked into place properly and stayed stable during use, with no wobbling or skipping, which is important for a consistent treatment experience.
In actual use, the performance was reliable. The needles worked smoothly on the skin, and I didnβt notice any bending or breakage. Each cartridge comes individually packaged, which helps maintain sterility and makes them convenient for single-use sessions. The different tip types also give good flexibility depending on whether you want gentler nano-needling or deeper penetration with the 36-pin option.

Good Variety Pack With Solid Compatibility, But No Protective Caps
This is a review for this 21-piece variety pack of Dr. Pen microneedling cartridges. For around $32, this actually feels like a pretty solid value overall. Youβre getting seven nano cartridges, seven 12-pin, and seven 36-pin, so itβs a nice mix depending on whether youβre doing product infusion, lighter treatments, or more intensive microneedling sessions. I always appreciate a variety pack because otherwise you end up buying giant boxes of one type and suddenly becoming emotionally committed to 36-pin needles for the next six years.
These fit my Dr. Pen M7/M7S perfectly with no issues clicking into place or staying secure during use. I didnβt have any wobbling, uneven dragging, or weird skipping while microneedling. Functionally, they performed just as well as other replacement cartridges Iβve used.
That said, they do look and feel a little cheaper than some other cartridges Iβve purchased before. Not necessarily unusable, just not quite as sturdy or polished-looking. Since these are single-use anyway, that may not matter to everyone, but it was noticeable.
My biggest hesitation is that these do not come with protective caps over the needles. To be fair, the listing photos actually do show them packaged this way, so itβs not misleading β they were honest about it β but personally Iβm just more comfortable when cartridges have caps for an added sense of sterility and protection. They are individually vacuum sealed with expiration dates, which I do appreciate, but Iβll probably use my capped cartridges first before reaching for these.
Because of that, Iβd feel a little more comfortable initially using these on areas like the chest or neck rather than jumping straight into facial treatments, at least until Iβve tested them more thoroughly. Iβd also definitely be extra cautious about sanitizing everything beforehand.
Overall though, for the quantity and variety included, this still feels like a decent buy if you go through cartridges regularly.

Awesome versatility, affordable, easy to use micro needles for compatible Dr. Pen devices π«Άπ½ππ€©βοΈ
This microneedling cartridge refill set is a pretty great value with a convenient mix of multiple needle options. Itβs super versatile and should easily meet all your microneedling skincare needs. The cartridges fit securely with compatible Dr. Pen models (mine is 7). MAKE SURE YOURS FITS!! Some devices THREAD, others DO NOT!! This is super important b/c if you donβt have the correct type, thereβs nothing you can do to make them work! These refills allow for easy and effective operation without causing skin snagging, tears, or injury (other than βmicro injury,β which is whatβs intended by the whole concept of Microneedling!). The individually sealed cartridges are sanitary, convenient for travel, and are an excellent choice for any microneedling skincare regimen. While the plastic housing/casing feels somewhat lightweight, the kitβs performance is actually top notch. I do wish they had protective caps for even more superior protection, but itβs a great deal and I canβt complain for the price. Itβs a total no-brainer if you have a compatible Dr. Pen Microneedling device.
