The idea is that you can wear it as pajamas or around the house, but it’s cute enough to style a bit and wear out on errands too! A housedress is designed to be oversized and flowy. This pattern has a slightly more tailored top than some, but a flowy a-line skirt to flatter every figure. It’s the perfect pregnancy/nursing gift because of the design but I promise you’ll wear it 24/7 even if you’re not pregnant! I hope you enjoy finally making something for YOU! Maybe plan on making two, so you have something to wear while the first one is in the wash! Includes 3 length options so you can customize to your liking!

Materials: 

• This pattern is drafted for drapey knits with at least 50% stretch. Some great blends include: Bamboo Lycra, Supima Cotton Micromodal Lycra, Modal, Brushed DTY, and Cotton Modal Slub. There are many options to choose from, just be sure that it’s a stretchy knit with drape.
• Light weight fusible interfacing. I use Pellon 911FF.
• 4 Snaps or Buttons
• 1/4” (.6.35mm) Stitch Witchery or Fusible Bonding (Optional)
