A road traveled often, leading us home, turning and twisting around curves, revealing glimpses of shimmering water, of patchwork colored leaves bending with the soft breeze, inspiring a handle as timeless as the rugged hills that perch above the lake.  The harborgate is our answer to form and function.  To beauty that never fades, never goes out of style, and grows better with age.  Offered here in Burnished Unlacquered Brass - left unlacquered to dull and darken with the movement of time.

A NOTE ON FINISH

Our burnished finish is a living finish, applied by hand, and is made in small batches. There may be slight variation from product to product. It's what makes the finish special. We encourage you to check with us before placing a large order to ensure your order comes from the same batch.

A NOTE ON LEAD TIME

We try our very best to keep items in stock in sufficient quantities, but with handmade small batch hardware that's not always possible.  Inventory changes on a daily basis and while the vast majority of non custom items will ship out within a week or two, if for some reason your project is on a tight timeline, we encourage you to reach out prior to ordering to verify individual quantities and lead time.

CARE AND CLEANING

Unlacquered brass is a lovely material that will naturally darken and age with use and exposure. Most of our customers never touch a knob or pull. Whatever you decide, do not use harsh chemicals or bleach. We always recommend a mild dish detergent and water for routine care. If the desire is to bring our polished finish back to its original condition a brass polish can be used, but please do not use this with any of our aged products (Burnished Brass, Antique Brass, Blackened Brass, and Vintage Brass) as it will damage the finish. If you prefer the ability to obtain a new brass look down the road always start with our polished brass.

INSTALLATION

Many of our products are supplied with exposed screws for installation. From a manufacturing Standpoint this is always a battle of form vs function. Everyone wants a beautiful exposed screw, but to do this, we have to use decorative screws that are not as robust as a large screw hidden behind a cabinet door or drawer. We always recommend predrilling cabinet doors and drawers, enlisting the services of a contractor, and installing without the assistance of power tools. If you break a screw off in the course of installation, we are not liable for a failure to follow these instructions. Screws are provided as a courtesy and are your responsibility to install correctly.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.
