They were discovered in our warehouse recently. NOT discovered was the invoice that accompanied this purchase, without which, we have had to make educated guesses as to the material and history of the slacks. It is the general consensus here that the material is a wool blend.

VINTAGE DRESS SLACKS

These beautiful dress pants were purchased in bulk, a few years back, from a supplier who specializes in outdoor and vintage military clothing and equipment. They were discovered in our warehouse recently. NOT discovered was the invoice that accompanied this purchase, without which, we have had to make educated guesses as to the material and history of the slacks.
It is the general consensus here that the material is a wool blend. They are fairly heavy and the material is slightly coarse - excellent for fall and winter.
As to the history of the pants, we are quite certain they are vintage military dress pants - possibly German, Eastern European or Scandinavian? - for the following reasons: The tags inside are not retail tags, not in English (the tags vary. See the last photo for one example), and look very much like the tags in the military pants we have often purchased from this supplier. The quality of the slacks is substantial and consistent with the military grade of our previous purchases. Finally, as mentioned above, the pants came in bulk and were not individually wrapped for retail sale.
