This ornate piece was look 53, modeled by the beautiful Jessica Miller. The collection, titled 'Scanners' was characteristically extravagant, featuring a wind tunnel and an elaborate set designed to look like a tundra. Each ensemble served as a modern interpretation of traditional clothing from Siberia, Tibet, or Japan. Per Vogue, “The clothes, sculpted into [McQueen’s] signature nip-waisted, stiff A-line skirt silhouettes, exhibited all the intense craft and some of the shapes that he learned during his stint at Givenchy couture.
