A stunning liquid silk satin wedding gown with sweetheart/square neckline, puffed button sleeves with covered buttons and pointed cuffs. The waistline is adorned with a tulle covered in white seed beads and pearls; creating an empire waist. The beaded detail forms a deep v in the back falling underneath the covered button closures and formfitting bias cut silhouette and long chapel length train. Two bustle buttons match with the thread loops on the skirt to bustle the skirt up for the reception. Hidden hook/eye closures underneath the back beaded section for a seamless closure. Tulle lining in the puffy shoulder for support. Matching cathedral length tulle veil trimmed in wide lace. The headpiece is covered in the same lace a bonnet shape that sits on the crown of the head with comb.

Label None, Professionally made. 

Condition Excellent vintage condition. The dress has not been dry cleaned. Light water mark and small mark on the back of dress, please see pictures. Could be removed by a professional wedding dress cleaner. Missing one button, the very bottom one near bustle buttons, not noticeable, but is replaceable by a seamstress. Small rust mark on sleeve. Please reach out with any questions.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
