This romantic vintage red velvet dress was custom-made in the late 1930s (possibly early 1940s), and is entirely one-of-a-kind. The maxi-length crushed red velvet is so rich. It features a gathered empire waist, with long tailored sleeves that come to a point at the cuff. It was reworked and modernized around the 1970s, with a zipper added in the back, making it easier to wear. Because of the empire waist, this can also be an incredible vintage maternity dress. Closes in the back with a zipper.

The Antique Victorian Heart Locket pictured is also available. 

Measurements: This will best fit a size X-Small, Small and possibly Medium; please refer to below measurements. It is smaller through the shoulders and chest, with more flexibility through the waist and hips.

Empire waist/underbust: about 29", gathering offers some forgiveness there
Hips are open up to 45"
Length: 53"


Good vintage condition overall; there were some repairs made to the fabric at the bottom skirt towards hem. I want to start by saying there is absolutely nothing wrong with this pillow—it’s well made, good quality, and exactly as described. The adjustable shredded memory foam design and cooling features will likely work well for many people. That said, it just wasn’t a good fit for me personally. Right away, I noticed that the shredded memory foam pieces are fairly large and dense, which made the pillow feel heavier than I expected. When I laid on it, it didn’t have the light, airy “cloud” feeling I prefer. Instead, it felt more solid and structured. I also found it retained heat. Even though it’s advertised as cooling, memory foam tends to hold warmth, and I could feel that fairly quickly. For someone sensitive to heat, this may be uncomfortable. If you prefer a more supportive, denser pillow, this could be a good option. But if you’re looking for something lightweight and breathable, this may not be the best choice. Overall, it’s a quality product—just not the right match for my comfort preferences.
