Our eight week old puppy was getting hard to hold without her trying to chew your fingers off. My husband found these bones at a pet store. So instead of letting either dog just run off and chew on the bone alone, whenever I’m just sitting doing nothing anyway, I will hold the bone and the dog in my lap and let them chew away so that they are not unsupervised. It has worked great for both my five-year-old Yorkie and my little eight week old pup! It has really helped my pup not chew my fingers as well! I think it has really soothed her little gums. Plus, it seems to help build a connection with both dogs. Since I’m holding the bone it’s providing them with something they enjoy and it’s coming from me.
