Beautiful black rayon crepe dress with Art Deco hand beading on sheer mesh panel at neckline, circa late 1930s vintage- ideal for cocktail or semi- formal events.

Beaded detailing is stunning- including faux pearl swags, prong set rhinestones, and rows of accent beading.

Dress has slightly soft shoulder seams, with pleating and gathers along the front bodice to a swag bow detail at front left upper hip. Set in sleeves are about 3/4 length with back pleat and band detail to mimic a bow shape. Skirt shape is softly A- lined, with front drape detail of of the overlapping swag detail at left front hip. Covered metal zipper at left side seam, smaller covered metal Talon zipper at back neck.

Condition is very, very good or better- wonderfully kept with minor signs of wear/ use. Some bead and rhinestone fading, especially to some of the pearl swags. The crepe body is in excellent condition, no holes, fading, issues to report. No labels.
