The antique dress comes from the Valentine Museum, America. The blue silk sections hanging down the sides back as two panels are striking. These are beautifully hand embroidered with a color coordinated floral motif. In the chest area, these blue sections are designed in the style of a vest. High waist, almost reminiscent of the fashion of the Empire period.
