50s prom dresses Vintage 50s Prom Dress Brown Chantilly Lace Size SThis is an early 1960s or 50s prom dress made of brown lace, I believe chantilly lace. The lace features a floral design on netting and the dress is constructed with the lace over a layer of netting over a copper brown taffeta base with layers of tulle supporting the outer layers. The dress is sleeveless with spaghetti shoulder straps. The bodice is decorated with a blue satin silk ribbon and bow. This 50s prom dress has a full skirt that is posed

This is an early 1960s or 50s prom dress made of brown lace, I believe “chantilly” lace. This 50s prom dress has a full skirt that is posed with a crinoline underneath - although there is tulle supporting the skirt, in order to achieve the same full “50s” skirt look, the use of a crinoline would be helpful (none is provided).  The dress does up the back with a metal zipper.

Label:  Only a cardboard size tag that reads 12 note this is a late 50s or early 60s sizing, so smaller than one would think.

Sizing: please note the following measurements for fit of this 50s prom dress, taking into account the style of the dress:

Bust:  34”-35” around

Waist:  25” around

Hips:  Full

Length:  41” long, measured flat including the shoulder straps

Condition:  This 50s prom dress is in very good condition with the exception of a some light discolouration/soiling at the underarm area and a bit of the same to the back bow.  I have not tried to treat or clean those areas.  Otherwise, this 50s prom dress is without other wear or tear.

This is a very cute vintage 50s prom dress - minor discolouration or soiling, with a bit of cleaning, this is ready to wear!

This is a barrier cream?
I also have very oily skin, so normally I stay away from anything that says barrier or balm. I push skin a lot lol...with max strength tretinoin, glycolic acids, salicylic acids, vitamin C... so there are times when I just need max help from a richer product bc sometimes I take it too far. LRP Cicaplast has been a staple and has saved me many a times. I bought this bc of the high percentage of ectoin, 5%, and it was so reasonably priced. When I squeezed the tube, I was really worried, it was thicker looking than the Cicaplast. However, when I spread it out, it was SO light and a tiny amount --barely a pea size, was enough to coat my face. It did not feel heavy. Even with my oily skin, I think I could wear this everyday. As an experiment, I applied any excess on one side of my hand, as I'm right handed, I would apply it on my left hand. I've had this about a week, and right now after doing the dishes, and washing my hands multiple times without any hand cream on it, my right hand is definitely drier than my left hand. My left hand also looks less red and more calm. This formula is 5 stars for both the effectiveness and the elegant formula. It may yet replace my LRP Cicaplast...we'll see!

Saved my daughter’s skin
My 21 yr old has gone from clear skin to now having cystic acne and whilst trying to get to the source of it, her skin has been painfully inflamed and constant dark red breakouts. We have tried other professional skincare’s, “no downtime” peels designed for acne, which made it worse etc. This product Finally was what gave her skin some relief, calmed the pain and inflammation, nearly stopped the breakouts and is allowing her skin to heal up. She said it felt so much better immediately after starting using it. And is so grateful for the redness and pain relief.

My go to makeup removal wipes
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 25)
CeraVe makeup wipes are perfect for traveling. Plant based, non sticky, makes makeup removal a snap and best of all it first irritate my sensitive skin. Open it up fully and simply wipe away your makeup. Place over eyes for about a minute to dissolve away mascara, eyeshadow and eyeliner. Truly it’s just that easy to easy to use. For me there’s no mess or fuss with using these wipes. They are a bit pricey, but you’re paying for a quality product.
