You do not need to apply heavy pressure to the wound like other hemostatic agents, pack the wound with WoundClot gauze and cover with hand pressure or a compression bandage. It will turn into gelatin in about 30 seconds, which then absorbs heavy amounts of liquid and gives your body the perfect environment for clotting to occur roughly 1 minute after initial application. WoundClot is not just for mass hemorrhaging wounds like most hemostatics, you can apply it to any type of bleeding, head wounds, slices, punctures, or even nosebleeds.
