This well preserved antique beauty is composed of three layers: a silk underlayer, and two fine English net outerlayers. The bodice is silk satin and shirred at the sides, on top is a layer of beautiful floral lace, that is repeated in the skirt. Rolled cording gives the skirt shape and structure creating the Robe de Style silhouette that was popular at the time. Sheer short sleeves. Hidden hook and eyes closures up the back. The interior bodice has boning for support and shape. In overall very good condition, clean and ready to wear.

Condition: Very good overall. This garment is over 100 years old and has minor signs of wear. Please see close up pictures and they are part of the condition report. Some minor damage under the arm pits that we will repair. Not visible when worn because it is covered with lace. Wears and presents beautifully as seen in pictures.
We gently clip our garments in the back to properly fit the dress form, this can cause the hem to look uneven in photos. This is not a flaw in the garment.
