This charming original 1920s silk chiffon floral print dress is delicate, feminine and in excellent antique condition. The pale yellow chiffon hosts a subtle abstract floral design in deep rose pink and lilac blues and has an air of understated modernity. The dress features a shallow scoop neck and a panelled triangulated neckline with a second layer overlaid and edged in a deep flounce which resembles an overlaid shawl. A light flyaway skirt flares out beneath a low horizontal panelled band which sits on the hips. The cuffs are roll-edged and finished with popper fastenings. As this piece is unlined, we recommend it be worn with a slip. Could be worn by a range of sizes up to and including US size 6, UK 10.

These chiffon dresses are increasingly difficult to come by in wearable condition and although the condition of this dress is excellent, it is not perfect. There is a small spattering of pin head size holes in a few localised areas all to the rear and the side seams of the dress. These are tiny and would never be seen when worn. The fabric has no tears or stains and is in otherwise very fresh condition.
