Unveiling the design Journey
I hand picked a flowy, light, yet practical chiffon fabric for a classic look. I chose a deep green to give it a bold elegant vibe. I just had to have these tiny feminine fabric buttons along the wrist to the side of the arm for a touch of feminine detail. I wanted to create an opening in the chest area for nursing. I did it with a hidden placket with double breasted fabric. The placket runs from the collar bone to bottom of bust. Inserted metal clip-on buttons along the placket for ease of clipping on and off for nursing. I built-in elastic in the waist for extra room for life's transitions. Needed it to be perfect for maternity. I've chosen a fabric belt for a soft graceful touch to complete it.
