Become the unforgettable presence in every room. The moment you enter, feel the whisper-soft cascade of liquid black satin against your skin. This isn't just a dress; it's an experience. Our Gabriella Gown is designed to sculpt and celebrate your form, with a structured corset bodice that defines your waist before flowing into a dramatic, floor-sweeping skirt that moves with an intoxicating elegance.

Imagine the subtle drama as you turn, revealing the intricate lace-up back—a detail that ensures all eyes remain on you. This is the gown for midnight toasts, for moments under chandeliers, for creating memories that last a lifetime. It’s a statement of quiet confidence and sophisticated allure.

Style this masterpiece with delicate diamond studs and a barely-there heel to let its powerful silhouette command full attention. For a formal gala or a black-tie wedding, it is the only piece you need to feel transcendent.

Investing in timeless elegance is always a wise decision. The Gabriella Gown is meticulously crafted from a premium heavyweight Japanese satin with a subtle, rich lustre that resists wrinkling and holds its shape beautifully through any event. The bodice is double-lined and features discreet boning for superior support and structure, eliminating the need for complex undergarments.

The adjustable corset back is not merely decorative; it's reinforced with durable silver-toned steel grommets and a robust satin ribbon, allowing for a truly customized, perfect fit that feels secure all night long. The skirt is cut on the bias, a couture technique that requires more fabric but results in a superior, fluid drape that flatters every movement.

We stand behind our craftsmanship with a Lifetime Stitching Guarantee. This gown is an heirloom piece, designed to be the cornerstone of your formal wardrobe for years to come, making it a sound investment in your personal style.

Hours of pleasure and learning
N.T. Wright is an excellent teacher - easy to listen to and so knowledgeable. The videos follow the book exactly and the accompanying workbook makes study a joy not a chore

Part of a Set
There are three items available in Wright and Bird's massive work on the New Testament. This is the video that goes with the text and there is also a Workbook.

Video lectures, just as the subtitle promises
I was seduced into buying this set on the basis of NT Wright's reputation and advertising graphics showing Holy Land locations. Consequently, I didn't pay sufficient attention to the subtitle: "The New Testament in Its World: Video Lectures." And "lectures" is exactly what this set delivers. Talking heads, lecturing on the New Testament; sometimes in a studio, sometimes in eastern Mediterranean locations. The content is solid evangelical biblical scholarship. My disappointment is the almost complete lack of engagement with the spectacular settings much of these films are shot in. It seems to me that Wright and his producers missed a real opportunity by failing more explicitly to relate their lecture content to the places where they're standing. I give this set a three-star rating. The lectures are a perfectly fine introduction to the New Testament, if that's what you're looking for -- but you could put them on CDs or MP3s and listen in the car. The graphics add very little to these presentations.

Didn't get a lot out of it
My wife got me this for a Christmas present. Having previously made it through Eusebius' "Proof of the Gospel", she figured I could handle it. I know this is part of Zondervan's Academic product line and as such is not aimed at a general audience. What I discover was that if the audience lacks credentials in Philosophy or Theology, the incessant use of jargon and terminology that would most often only be encountered in a Seminary or Religious College is something I found off-putting.
