Its embroidery draws inspiration from the Rábaköz region of northwestern Hungary, celebrated for its richly detailed folk vocabulary and, above all, its striking sense of symmetry. Floral motifs, peacocks, deer and the double-headed eagle are arranged in balanced, symmetrical compositions that are ornamental yet deeply expressive, each element in conversation with its reflection.

Here, this visual language is reinterpreted in a refined, monochrome palette, giving the piece a subdued, more contemporary presence while maintaining the intricacy of the original tradition.

At the back, a Tree of Life embroidery takes hold. A central symbol in Hungarian folk art, it represents growth, continuity and the connection between worlds. Traditionally associated with protection and renewal, it anchors the dress in a deeper symbolic narrative.
