Telfa™ AMD Antimicrobial Non-Adherent Dry Dressings from Cardinal Health contain 0.2% PHMB (polyhexamethyelene biguanide), which helps them combat a broad spectrum of bacteria. These dressings are proven to perform without impacting epithelization in a negative way, and provide low to very minimal cytotoxicity. They have no known resistances, are completely hypoallergenic, and completely free of natural rubber latex.

The bacterial-killing polymer attacks microorganisms on and within the dressing to help keep them out of the wound. This limits cross-contamination and ensures a healthy healing environment. The dressings protect patients against 15 gram-negative, gram-positive, fungi, and yeast microorganisms. PHMB is your trusty shield against infection (you can look for its icon on other products by Covidien and Cardinal Health).

AMD Non-Adherent Dry Dressings will effectively protect patients against the following bacteria:
