With our Original Retro Swing Dress, you are ready to TrekBound into the final frontier! This vintage style dress replicates the four-panel "starburst" seam detailing and raised scoop-neck collar of those iconic mid-century space fashions that captured our hearts!

Featuring 3/4 length sleeves, a gathered swing skirt that delivers the perfect amount of swish, and pockets deep enough to hold all the necessities for an away mission, it's a classically flattering look you can wear to work, on the town, and while boldly going anywhere! Want a little extra VA VA VOOM? Try wearing a petticoat/crinoline underneath! 

This dress is modeled after a classic vintage silhouette with a skirt that hits about mid-calf. We strive to be able to include as many body types as possible in our designs, and this skirt length allows our taller customers to have a dress that's not TOO short. We highly encourage customers to have the skirt length altered if they find it too long for their personal preferences!

Fit & Model Info

Fit: Made from a mid-weight Ponte de Roma, our Original Retro Swing Dress has just the right amount of weight to give it a good hang and great swish when twirling around. It's fitted snug at the bust and waist, and free-flowing at the hips. It zips up the back using a robust bridal zipper.

On most heights this dress hits over the knee to mid-calf. This is a classic vintage length, which is the style inspiration for this design. It also accommodates more height varieties of our customers!

Fabric & Care

Fabric: Ponte de Roma 70% Rayon, 25% Nylon, 5% Spandex

Care: Machine wash cold on delicate cycle and tumble dry low. Or hand wash cold and dry flat for best longevity. If needed, steam or use an iron on a synthetics setting with lots of steam. To preserve the shape of the collar, we recommend ironing it prior to wearing.
