This is a reproduction of the WWII US Army M1939 Wool Enlisted Service Class A Uniform Jacket – also known as Coat, Service, EM, M1939 with 1942 Modifications. This khaki brown wool US Army enlisted service jacket has four front pockets (two patch and two internal) with flat front flaps. This is the 1942 modified version, which still has a bi-swing back, a pleat for additional shoulder movement, but no brass support hooks for a leather belt, as they were no longer worn, and meant to be worn as a dress uniform with M1937 wool field shirts and trousers.
