Vintage early 90s Trek Antelope 830 step-thru bike, perfect for a smaller rider (5'2"-5'5" or so) who wants to do some commuting and even touring and bikepacking on this bike, which has mounts for fenders plus front and rear racks, and plenty of tire clearance to get you out on some dirt and gravel trails. 

We haven't worked on this bike yet, so it's not as polished up as it will be, but we will prep it for you if you book a test ride. The price is for a tuned up and working bike without considerable upgrades. Added upgrades/customizations will add to the final price. We'd love to customize it for you, or we may end up fixing it up ourselves first and updating the listing accordingly when we do.

A refresh from us will most likely include new grips, brake pads, and a deep clean/tune up. We'd also most likely put on a shorter stem and/or sweptback bars for a more upright riding position (our specialty, and what most new riders find comfortable), and a new saddle. We prefer to make these last changes with the final buyer to make sure we're doing what is most comfortable for them.

Frame

Tange Chromoly double butted steel tubing, made in Taiwan step-through frame, with white paint job with teal and black lettering and accents. Chromoly fork as well. Eyelets on front and rear for accesorizing with fenders and/or racks. Original dealer sticker from Aurora Cycle in Seattle, WA, and a metal Trek headbadge.

Drivetrain

3x7 Megarange gearing for hill climbing and picking up speed.
Suntour XCD triple crankset with black chainrings
Suntour 4050 XCE deraillleurs (accushift rear derailleur)
Suntour accushift 3x7 thumb shifters (indexed rear shifting and friction in the front)

Headset, stem, handlebars, brakes

Comes with a black headset, long black quill stem, and black MT Sakae riser handlebars. Dia Compe black XCE  cantilever rim brakes and 4 finger brake levers and black grips (may need replacing).

Wheels/tires

26in wheels with silver rim brake Weinmann rims, unbranded silver quick release hubs. Currently running Specialized Nimbus 26x1.40" tires with tan sidewall. They are old but have some life left in them. They're good for mainly road, and some light trails.

Accessories/upgrades

Comes with a white bottle cage, and a kickstand.

Pedals

We take pedals off for storage but will include either original, era-appropriate, or basic but aesthetically fitting pedals with the bike, depending on what we have available at the time of sale.
